’14 Smart Hub Soccer

Between 2013 and 2014, Samsung Smart TV featured several core UI panels, including the “Soccer Panel,” which was launched exclusively in Latin America for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

The Soccer Panel provided match-related content such as videos, news, results, rankings, and team customization, allowing users to access soccer information directly on TV.

Our design team analyzed TV viewing behaviors before, during, and after matches to create a UI optimized for the TV environment. By reflecting key user needs—such as checking highlights, match results, and favorite teams—the Soccer Panel delivered a more engaging and intuitive sports experience on the big screen and was designed to scale into a broader Sports Panel.
