Social TV 2.0

Social TV is a TV service that allows users to engage with social media while watching television. Through the Tweet Live feature, users can search for and view tweets related to the current TV program. While it is notable that younger generations are moving away from traditional TV, television remains a powerful source of information. Social media communication often consists of impressions and reactions to information, which is itself a form of information exchange. This application transforms TV into a communication platform, presenting a new way to use existing media and demonstrating an alternative model of social media engagement within the home.

• Collaborated with Facebook, Twitter, and Korean social media companies.

• Designed all visual and motion elements across the experience.

• Won the 2013 Good Design Award in Japan and Korea.
