Camera App
Camera App reimagines the TV as an interactive and personal device rather than a passive viewing screen. It enables users to capture and manage photos and videos directly on the TV, extending its role beyond content consumption.
A key feature, “My Mirror,” allows users to see themselves on screen while watching TV, supporting activities such as yoga or home workouts. By providing real-time visual feedback, the feature encourages more confident and self-guided exercise in the living-room environment.
Another core interaction, “Gesticon,” combines gesture recognition with emoticons to create a playful, expressive experience. Simple gestures—such as a thumbs-up—are detected by the TV-mounted camera and translated into on-screen emoticons, allowing users to capture photos in a natural, hands-free way. Together, these features explore new forms of interaction and demonstrate how TV can function as an active, engaging medium within the home.
